Frequently Asked Questions
Meet & Greet
What's a Meet & Greet?
The Meet & Greet happens before our first booking with you.
Do I need to do a Meet & Greet?
Yes. The Meet & Greet is really important to make sure we're a good fit to help out with your pet.
How long does a Meet & Greet take?
About 30 minutes. (Maybe 45 minutes if you'd like our help with mulitple pets).
What vaccinations do you need my dog to have?
Vaccinations are a crucial part of our protection plan for your dog whilst they're in our care.
We follow RSPCA Australia’s advice on vaccinations and will ask for evidence of the following in-date vaccinations at our Meet & Greet: We ask for the following vaccinations to be in-date:
Canine Distemper Virus (part of the C3 & C5 vaccination)
Canine Adenovirus (part of the C3 & C5 vaccination)
Canine Parvovirus (part of the C3 & C5 vaccination)
Parainfluenza Virus (part of the C5 vaccination)
Bordetella bronchiseptica (part of the C5 vaccination)
Where does Creature Cadets operate?
We provide our amazing services in the 4053 postcode. We cover McDowall, Mitchelton, Everton Hills, Everton Park, Stafford and Stafford Heights on the Northside of Brisbane.
Are you insured?
Yes (even Riley!). Your pet is a precious, loved member of your family. We work really hard to keep them safe but, occasionally, accidents happen. It would be completely irresponsible of us not to be insured.
Is Riley ever alone with my pet?
No, Riley is never alone with your pet during our dog-walks and home-visits. Riley is an incredible pet-minder and dog-walker but Riley's Dad (hi!) always accompanies him. If your pet is staying with us, then, yes, there will be times when Riley is alone with your pet (usually because the dogs end up sleeping at the end of his bed!).
