We completely get it, trusting someone new to help out with your fur-baby can be nerve-wracking. So, let's start getting to know each other.

We're Creature Cadets, a son and dad pet-care team in Brisbane. Started in July 2019, we're a family following our 11-year old's passion and love of animals.

What?! Your business is run by an 11-year old?

Yep, Riley is the heart of Creature Cadets. He has an incredible empathy and connection with animals. Despite this, Riley is never on his own with your pet. I (Mark, his dad) am always with him. When Riley's at school, I take care of your pet.



When do you visit my pets?

When it works for you. We find most dogs and cats are fed at breakfast and or dinner time, so that's when most of our visits take place. We also do lunchtime visits that breaks up your pets day while you're at work. If you need us to visit at other times, just ask.

Will you be inside my home?

Usually, yes. For some outdoor dogs, pond fish and aviaries we don't need to enter your property. If your pets are inside, then we would need to access your home. There are a number of ways to do this. The most common solution is to give us a key at your Meet & Greet. For your peace-of-mind, we're police-checked, insured and experienced at this. Each visit is also GPS tracked, so you will know exactly when we arrived and when we left your home.



What pets are best suited to your Pet Care Visits?

That's a great question. We find home-visits work well for cats. They are often comfortable with their own company and more relaxed in their own home rather than a cattery. Fish, reptiles, birds and mini-beasts and other pets with hard to move enclosures are also well-suited to home-visits. Outdoor dogs can also be well-suited to home-visits.
